Acupuncture Diagnostic Imaging – EMI
EMI stands for Electro-Meridian Imaging. This painless examination involves touching a moist cotton probe to 24 skin sites: six on each wrist and six on each ankle. Readings are recorded for computer input and discussed with the patient. These readings are very important to evaluating the body’s energy systems and whether any organs are under stress. Depending on the outcome of one’s EMI, we can make recommendations for corrective care. Inter-examiner reliability is excellent, and patient responses can be stunning.
